Hey! I’m Jasmine, and I’m just someone who loves to draw. I’ve been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil. As a kid growing up with a very active imagination, drawing allowed me to release all of my spontaneous energy. Throughout school, I consistently excelled in art classes and contests, crafting my skills and making sure I understood anatomy, color, light, and the harmony it required to master and improve my personal art style. 2D art is my bread and butter, and I worked solely in traditional mediums before college. The University of the Arts introduced me to the wonderful world of digital art, and after graduation, it became my main drawing source. Childhood shows from Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Hanna-Barbara have and continue to drive my inspiration for my work. They created so many legendary characters with such purpose and passion, and, in a way, they became real to me. Like them, I give my characters life and movement through their design, colors, and expressions. I strive for my drawings to feel as magical as the ones I grew up watching. When life as an adult feels a little chaotic, drawing has always been able to ease the tension.
